Lulu La Femme created the series, “Poetry in Pasties” as a means to showcase both her burlesque costumes and her writing while in quarantine.
She discovered that the processes of making pasties and writing poetry fulfilled her needs to stay inspired, and provided her with a connection to the world of burlesque, as well as providing comfort and healing while in extended isolation.
